Roger Searle has more than 20 years’ experience in the media industry, including the last decade spent in Asia, across magazines, events and online Roger is one of the most experienced marketing and media professionals in the region.
Having cut his teeth in the fiercely competitive B2B marketing communications industry in the UK through the nineties, Roger headed up a division of magazines, events and associated media products at Maxwell Business Communications before moving to Asia over a decade ago.
Roger took his knowledge of the luxury travel and lifestyle industry to Emphasis, at the time one of the world’s leading inflight media specialists with a portfolio of inflight magazines, guides, digital media, TV and ambient media. Roger headed up a global network spanning over twenty countries ,working with long-term partners such as Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Air China, Gulf Air, British Airways, United Airlines and many more.
Through a combination of restructuring and launching of new media initiatives, Roger drove a 30%+ growth in global revenues generating a record US$21million in advertising and sponsorship revenues catapulting Emphasis to the spot of most profitable company in the international Publigroupe portfolio.
