Based in Perth, Western Australia, Paul has worked in the resort development industry since 1983 and has had direct involvement in the setting up more than 100 resort and mixed use projects across some 20 different jurisdictions, incorporating either branded residences, fractional or shared ownership or private residence club offerings.

He has authored a study of hotel and mixed-use resort development, a study of the south-east Asian vacation ownership market, both published by the Economist Intelligence Unit as well as a 300 page study of the global resort industry published by Mintel in 2004. He is also co-author of the Timeshare Volume (Vol.41) of the Encyclopedia of Forms and Precedents published by LexisNexis and is currently authoring a Supplement on Fractional Ownership.

Paul worked full-time for Starwood’s Vacation Ownership subsidiary, as SVP, Business Development for EAME. He lists amongst his clients Arthur D. Little, De Vere Hotels, Dubai Holdings, Hg Capital, Hilton Group, Interval International; Marriott Vacation Club International, RCI; Rank Group, Six Senses, Sunterra, Thakral, Thomas Cook, TUI Ag. plus many unlisted hospitality companies and developers.

Paul relocated to Australia in January 2008 and he specialises in mixed-use resort development, hotel-related real estate and shared ownership offerings.
